Hellraiser 2: Hellbound

What alot of you probably don’t know about me is that I love old cheesy horror films.  Now I will admit that I didn’t care much for Hellraiser.  To me it was just a movie to watch because it was a cult classic.  So naturally I was kinda skeptical when my sister told me I should watch this movie.  When I watched this movie as always I made funny comments all through the movie (by the way this is the perfect movie to do that to).  This movie definately  had better special effects and was a little more into explaining some things left out of the first movie.  As such the sad sad truth about the centibites.  But basically this movie is a great sequel with almost every member of the original cast.  The film also had the same score.

The storyline in this film follow the new life of the original daughter Kirsty.  She finds out her father is in hell and wants to save him.  But Kirsty is in a mental hospital with a fucked up doctor that sacrifice the most crazy to Julia (Kirsty’s mother) who is an evil bitch.  This doctor wants to know what hell is like so he takes a mental patient to solve the box (portal to hell).  This girl is fairly adept to puzzle so she solves this really quick and then shit hits the fan.

Oddly enough I thought this movie was much better than it’s sequel for providing more of a background on hell and it’s denizens.  Thus I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Lately I have been playing Combat Arms and Maple Story.  I am reading Atlas Shrugged and I am purchasing more Dark Tower books.
